As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers. Your visible presence and clear communication will help deter security-related incidents while supporting smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Screen deliveries, drivers, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures; direct authorized personnel to appropriate check-in, staging, or receiving areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, the business, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
