Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol and Access Control in Myerstown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as warehouses, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a warehouse, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and strong communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. This role offers the chance to provide exceptional customer service while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, screening processes, and/or policy-related questions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support site staff during routine operations and unexpected events by communicating clearly, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and following post orders and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have at least 6+ months of security experience or the equivalent.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience.
• Able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
