Security Officer - Weekdays First Shift

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and delivery access records, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
