Security Officer - First Shift Weekdays

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, lobby areas, and/or exterior entrances to support authorized entry procedures and provide assistance with directions, visitor questions, and general property information.
• Observe and report security-related issues such as trespassing, loitering, property damage, and/or policy violations while working in a commercial real estate location with varying environments and conditions.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
