Security Officer Weekday Operations

About the role

As a Security Officer in Patrol Operations at a chemical/petrochemical location in West Elizabeth, PA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Observe and report potential hazards, damaged barriers, unsecured doors, or other conditions requiring attention to site management or emergency personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.56 per hour.

• Thursday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
