About the role
As a Security Officer Warehouse Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, service areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors according to site procedures, and documenting entries, exits, and relevant activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol findings, incidents, access-related events, and other security-related observations.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
