Security Officer - Warehouse

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transportation facilities, public areas, restricted access points, and/or surrounding perimeters as assigned.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disruptions to daily operations.
• Support access control, credential checks, and/or queue observation while maintaining a professional presence and providing assistance with directions or general inquiries.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
