What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, document arrivals and departures, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, gate areas, loading zones, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Complete logs, reports, and other required documentation related to access activity, site events, and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
