Security Officer Visitor Management

About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Front Desk Visitor Management in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment while supporting daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet, screen, and direct visitors in accordance with access-control requirements, including verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from a stationary front-desk post; report unusual activity or access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, guests, and Allied Universal leadership while maintaining confidentiality and a welcoming reception environment.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
