Security Officer Visitor Access

About the role

As a Security Officer Visitor Access in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech, Media, and Telecom. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, support access control activities, deliver exceptional customer service, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of technology and telecommunications facilities, including business areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic; document observations and report unusual conditions.
• Support a professional, service-oriented environment by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, vendors, and leadership.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Note: This site has limited on-site facilities, such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Pay

$17.51 per hour.

Schedule

• Full Time, DayTime
• Monday – Friday: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
