Job Description

As a Security Officer Visible Patrol Presence in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and sharing observations with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and building activity, assist with visitor and/or contractor entry procedures, and report maintenance, lighting, or property-related issues observed during patrols.
• Support day-to-day operations at the location by communicating professionally with occupants, following post orders, and completing assigned reports and logs related to security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
