Security Officer Vehicle Route Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Vehicle Route Patrol Driver in Roanoke, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site-specific procedures.
• Assist with access control, monitor entry and exit activity, and maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour. Schedule: Day Time, Monday 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM, Tuesday 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM, Saturday 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM, Sunday 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM.
