Security Officer Route Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Route Patrol Driver in Boonton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Utilities. You will conduct routine patrols, operate a company vehicle, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, visitor and contractor activity, and vehicle entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and effectively; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation while communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions).
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$21.00 per hour.
