About the role

As a Security Officer Vehicle Rounds in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, driver, and incident records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Support a professional logistics and distribution environment by communicating observations, completing required reports, and following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
