Security Officer Armed Driver Rounds

About the role

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Rounds in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns while maintaining a visible presence.
• Support access control and after-hours security-related checks, including verifying authorized entry, observing delivery activity, and/or reporting hazards or maintenance issues noticed during patrols.

Requirements

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
