Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location in Mukilteo, WA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, reporting unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$22.87 / hour

Schedule

• Position Type: Full Time
• Day shift: 03:00 AM - 11:00 AM, Monday through Friday
