As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. This driving post offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to site needs with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, noting and reporting unusual conditions.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
