Security Officer Vehicle Circuit Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, and/or policy violations, and document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support store personnel and visitors with directions, assistance requests, and/or de-escalation during disturbances or high-traffic periods.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
