About the role
As an Access Control Security Professional at a utility location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use technology to document incidents, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related concerns through a visible, professional presence.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and identify unusual conditions.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding access control activities, incidents, and policy violations.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$18.30 - $19.30 / Hour

- Sunday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
