Security Officer Unarmed Warehouse Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Warehouse Patrol Driver in Sparrows Point, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and assist with directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports while supporting a professional, welcoming environment for all individuals at the location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Customer service experience.
• Access control and badge experience.
• CPR and First Aid experience.
• X-Ray screening experience.

Pay

$19.76 / hour

• Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
