As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, lobby areas, and other assigned locations; verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including the business perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license (required for this driving position in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy).
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Florida State Security Agency License (No. B8500287) may be required prior to employment.
