About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Omaha, NE, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior workspaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with access control processes and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Prepare clear, timely reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
