About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic entertainment and retail location in Ontario, CA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests and team members. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the entertainment venue, retail areas, parking lots, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe guest activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and documenting observations and actions taken.
- Assist with traffic flow, crowd management, and guest directions during busy periods, special events, and closing procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Pay
$23.40 / hour
Schedule
- Monday: 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM
- Tuesday: 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM
- Friday: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Sunday: 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM
