About the role

As an Unarmed Route Patrol Driver in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Utilities. This part-time role allows you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, utility infrastructure, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
  • Communicate observed hazards, equipment concerns, and security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$16.21 / Hour

Schedule

  • Wednesday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
  • Friday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
  • Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
