About the role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Role in Pawleys Island, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, amenities, and/or community access points, verifying authorized access when required and reporting maintenance, lighting, or property-related issues observed during patrols.
- Support residential community operations by assisting with visitor directions, observing rule compliance, and completing routine reports, logs, and/or incident documentation.
Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
