As a Security Officer Unarmed Retail in Houston, TX (zip code 77023), you will serve and safeguard clients in retail/mall environments. This is a full‑time position requiring a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor for unusual activity, report observations to appropriate store contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and document incidents according to location procedures.
• Assist with access control, delivery and vendor activity, and other security‑related duties as assigned at the retail location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required (in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy).
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Monday: 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM; Tuesday–Friday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
