Security Officer Unarmed

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related observations and activities according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity at the location, assist with visitor-related protocols, and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized access attempts, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
