Security Officer Unarmed Property Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location in Sandy, UT. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication while using a computer or tablet to support daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to policy.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain professional communication with site contacts, and support a welcoming environment for all individuals at the location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Position Type: Full Time
• DayTime: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday
• Hours: 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
