Security Officer Unarmed Property Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a transportation services location in Atlanta, GA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist visitors and staff with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and support a welcoming environment through dependable service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a transportation services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, parking lots, building entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate service areas and reporting access-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
