Security Officer Unarmed Perimeter Observation

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a food processing location in Farmerville, LA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of food processing facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed, and report suspicious conditions, persons, or activity to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, including observations related to facility operations, visitor activity, and patrol findings.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
