Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including parking areas, trailer yards, loading docks, gate areas, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery drivers, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report access concerns or policy violations.
- Support security-related operations at a logistics and distribution location by observing facility conditions, noting damaged gates, doors, fencing, and/or lighting, and communicating issues for follow-up.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
- Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
Skills
- Customer service skills.
- Security-related procedures knowledge.

- Computer or tablet proficiency.
