Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Surveillance

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, contractors, and/or agency personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government redevelopment location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and report unusual activity, property damage, or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate emergency personnel and/or site representatives when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
