About the role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Support in Glassboro, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, production areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or vendor deliveries to help to support authorized entry and report suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Assist with maintaining order during busy operational periods, support incident response needs, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and/or drivers regarding site rules and expectations.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
