About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

• Daytime
• Thursday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Friday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers at an automotive facility by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of automotive facility buildings, parking areas, vehicle storage locations, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and vendor credentials as required, and maintain accurate records of security-related activities.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
