Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response in Cheyney, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions and reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and campus contacts.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
