As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response in Saratoga Springs, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff with exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly, respond to routine concerns, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the mall common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
- Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help support a welcoming environment and adherence to site rules.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws as a condition of employment. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law as a condition of employment.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Pay
$17.43 per hour.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
