About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Zeeland, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional customer service and clear communication, using computer or tablet tools and alarm panels as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or hazards
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and contractor entry in accordance with site requirements; report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Alarm panel experience is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $18.58 / Hour

Schedule: Tuesday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Wednesday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Thursday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Saturday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
