Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Reporting

About the role
As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, manage access points, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and site information, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate activity, incident, and shift reports, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Day shift: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
