Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Officer in Plain City, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter zones, with attention to unusual activity and/or unsecured conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and delivery traffic, helping to support site rules, authorized access practices, and orderly movement throughout the location.
- Aid in monitoring shipping and receiving areas, observing for policy violations, damaged property, and/or operational disruptions, and communicate findings according to post instructions.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
