Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Observation

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Observation in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, entry points, dock areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitors, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, unusual activity, and patrol observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
