About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Monitoring in Three Rivers, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This part-time position offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observations, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Comply with licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
