As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic healthcare and technology-focused location, maintaining a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication, routine patrols, and responsive customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare offices, parking areas, entrances, waiting areas, and surrounding property to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, providing directions and assistance as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
Pay Rate: $17.75 - $18.75 / Hour
