Security Officer Unarmed Patrol - Financial Company

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, lobby areas, offices, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for incidents, observations, patrols, and access‑related activities.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, depending on state and/or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.00 per hour

Schedule

Part‑time position. Daytime shifts: Saturday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
