Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Clearance Required

About the role

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part‑Time Unarmed Security Officer / Patrol Driver in King of Prussia, PA. The position supports aerospace and defense clients, providing a visible security presence, access‑control management, and customer service while driving as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures, site policies, and emergency response protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, office areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor activity, incidents, and irregular conditions in required reports and logs.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership about observed conditions, policy concerns, and response activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance (required).
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver‑policy requirements (required for driving duties).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age (unarmed role).
• Willingness to undergo a background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law.
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Proficiency with computers or tablets (preferred).
• Experience with access‑control and badge systems (preferred).

Pay

$23.86 per hour (part‑time).

Schedule

Daytime shifts: Monday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and Wednesday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
