Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document observations and communicate with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Support routine operations during changing weather, shift activity, and/or outdoor conditions.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of security procedures and site-specific policies.
