Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Documentation in Hartford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Maintain awareness of changing conditions throughout the location and communicate observed security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
