As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, assist with access control and badge-related activities, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and use technology to document activities.

- DayTime: Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
- Support the protection of sensitive business operations by maintaining awareness of site activity and promptly communicating security-related issues through established channels.
Minimum Requirements
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Licensing Requirements
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
