About the role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Compliance in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist with loss prevention awareness. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and use technology to document activity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant observations and actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, supporting crowd management activities, and communicating professionally with store personnel and visitors.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Monday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Friday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
