Security Officer Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Camarillo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a transportation-related location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation-related location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading zones, business perimeter, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Observe conditions that may require attention, communicate relevant information to site personnel, and follow established escalation procedures.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.00 / Hour

Schedule

Full Time. Daytime: Monday through Friday, 09:00 AM – 05:30 PM.
