Security Officer Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs with professionalism.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor entry requirements in accordance with site procedures, directing guests to appropriate offices or service areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Schedule: DayTime - Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM
